Council Day Camp Meetings

The district day camp chairs and program chairs meet throughout the year at the Cockrell Scout Center at 7:00 pm.

April 10, 2019

2019 Registration

Doubleknot: Friendly reminder:  Make sure you follow the instructions for pulling Doubleknot reports. One person on the day camp staff can be given access to pull reports in Doubleknot.  Submit the Doubleknot Access Form to your district executive; they will submit the form to the IT department at SHAC.

Registration close dates: Registration closes automatically at two weeks before camp.  A camp director can request an extension of up to one-week extension by contacting darlene.scheffler@gmail.com.  The link will be removed off the website and the link will be given to the camp director to distribute at the discretion of the camp director if space is available in their camp.  A camp director can then request that the link remain open for Scouts only up to the day of camp.  For adults, permission will need to be granted as the background checks may not be able to be completed within a week prior to camp.

Placemats: We have placemats to promote day camp on the district websites home page.  Please double check them. Let darlene.scheffler@gmail.com know if any corrections are needed. Share them with your units.
